Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. I damaged my boots while drying them this morning on a wood stove, so I'll need my spare pair sooner than I anticipated. I've sent you the particulars for mailing in a separate email. The rain has stopped for now, so I'm about to head out for the next shelter. I expect to stay at Groundhog Creek Shelter tonight. A bear has been reported to be causing trouble at the two shelters after that, so special precaution will have to be taken in hanging the food bags. "Aunt Mary" showed up here again today with more "trail magic."
