Having my practice of 25 years come to an end is sad in many ways, and sometimes the only way to take on a new adventure is to make space for it. I appreciate the privilege of working with so many wonderful people over the years and now look forward to opening this new chapter in my life. It has been said that every journey begins with the first step. Well, in my case, this thru hike began when I was 13 and was hiking portions of the AT in NC. I was walking between Russell Field and Mollies Ridge and had the dream of hiking the entire trail in a single season. Now at 60 I am preparing to do just that. Any prayers anyone would like to say on my behalf will be appreciated.
